I was born on May 19, 1997 in Palermo, a seaside town in southern Italy.
Since I was a child I have always loved art, music and animation to the point of wanting to be part of these worlds.
I had a lot of VHS, I often painted with my father and we used to build fantastic paper castles.
We both have always had a deep passion for drawing and this has fueled my curiosity and kept me interested.
I was about 8 years old when I asked my father if he knew how cartoons were made, and he explained to me that they were the result of many drawings in succession that created the illusion of movement.
I was really surprised. Magical! He couldn’t have given me better news and since then my ideas have started to take shape more and more, ever so clearly.
I attended the G.D.
Almeyda High School and I met fantastic people, as I took part in collaborations with the School of Comics in Palermo.
At the end of that experience, I was 18 and I was so full with enthusiasm, that after convincing my family that I wanted to keep studying on this path (and I thank them for their support), I decided to move to Florence to study Animation at the Nemo Academy.
I feel really lucky because from there I started taking big steps towards the field of my dreams, by greatly developing my skills. In 2018 I partecipated in the summer Masterclass “Animando”, under the supervision of the Nemo staff and the legends of the animation industry such as Sandro Cleuzo, Tony Tarantini and John Nevarez.
In 2019 I started a new adventure as a freelance artist at Okubo Station and even there I refined new artistic techniques thanks to thanks to my friends and various artists in the fields.
Another very important presence in my life is undoubtedly music, which I have started to study at a young age, up to the piano diploma at the A. Scarlatti Conservatory in Palermo.
I owe a lot to music because it is also the place I go to when I want to shake myself and feel every single sound vibrate, allowing myself to be carried away by it.
At Nemo, I was also able to perform with the Florence Pop Orchestra, a musical project that offered me the opportunity to fully experience the animation, playing the soundtracks of famous feature films.
Today I collaborate with several studios and I always like to meet new people, especially artists with whom I share my artistic passion.
I recently took part in projects that on one hand put me to the test, but on the other got me really excited.
I have worked as a freelance character designer for Hanh Films, Red Monk, Tonic DNA, COMBO productions and as an illustrator at Moon Publishing.
