Andreas Deja fa la prima domanda per ottenere un lavoro come animatore Disney all’età di 10 anni.

Nato in Polonia e cresciuto in Germania, ricorda di aver scritto allo studio subito dopo aver visto “Il libro della giungla“. ”

Non avevo mai visto un film Disney prima,” ricorda “E’ stata un’esperienza fondamentale perché non riuscivo a credere a quello che vedevo.

Tutti quei disegni che si muovavano, pensavano e agivano in modo così reale.”

Lavorando con Eric Larson, uno dei leggendari Nine Old Men Disney, Deja completa numerosi test e fa i suoi primi character design, ricerche di costumi e animazioni per “Taron e la Pentola Magica“.

Comincia da qui la carriera di uno degli animatori più amati dal pubblico.
